  I lived in my apartment for about 2 years while in college. Never had parties or many people over. Before I moved out I let crystal (property manager) know that I was going to purchase new blinds in which I did. My mother came down from Michigan to help me clean the apartment (From top to bottom) and to move to Chicago the very next day. I got a bill saying that I had to pay to get the apartment repainted, new carpet, new blinds (which were brand new). They took my deposit and charged me an extra $300 stating that my apartment needed new carpet (Carpet just needed to be cleaned after 2 years of use). A good friend of mine that was familiar with my apartment moved into my unit and reported to me that they never re-painted the walls and never replaced the carpet that they claimed was "damaged". He knew exactly what my places looked like. This management company will change you up the ass and pocket the money. I tried to get Crystal to come out and do a walk through just in case anything wasn't up to par and I was ignored until I got a huge bill in the mail. Don't trust them at all.
